Oscar Peterson, the famous fish carver from Cadillac, Michigan, made this ten inch long goldeneye drake duck decoy in the late 1920's. This little fellow is from the Lancaster Estate, and we can only image that it was used on Saginaw Bay. Oscar is well known for his fish decoys and plaques and also made several hundred duck decoys. Mostly original paint with some hunter touch up.
This is your opportunity to own a decoy made by Oscar Peterson.
